Our company, NTT Worldwide Telecommunications Corporation (NTT WT), reorganized in October 2007, is a globally unified point of providing state-of-the-art data centers, as important platform for global ICT service, to the NTT Communications group companies in foreign countries. To make NTT WT accommodate the rapidly changing environment and to satisfy NTT Communications group companies’ urgent and complex missions, I joined NTT WT as President and CEO after my role of Senior Vice President of NTT Communications in June 2010.

As socioeconomic activities are expanding over borders, multinational companies, aiming growth towards sustainable development, are finding it absolutely necessary to support their activities by deploying economical and high quality ICT on a global scale. At the same time, ICT is playing a key role not only in Japan but in other countries with the means to solve problems in the environment, healthcare, education and welfare, as well as make our lives much richer, safer and more secure. Recently, cloudization of ICT services is also being progressed well.

The NTT Communications group, through its mission of bridging the world with NTT quality, provides optimal ICT services over global environment. To achieve this critical mission, our providing data centers are playing one of fundamental key roles.
